Hello, I am writing this on behalf of my son, Travis. He will be attending the University of Missouri Rolla this coming fall semster of 2007. He is currently enrolled in high school in Marysville California and is in the top 10% of his class. He also recently attended a visitation day at UMR and took 2 math tests and scored in the top10% of incoming freshmen in the last 5 years. He has chosen to go to UMR because he would like to major in Engineering, Aerospace is his first choice, and Rolla has one of the best undergraduate programs available in the U.S. for Engineers. Because he will be attending as an out-of-state student his tuition is rather expensive. Currently we have applied for and recieved financial aid and a few scholarships but we are still a little under half of the $26,000 he will need to attend his first year.
